Our visit was marked by a warm welcome from Abdulla Fathhey, the General Manager of Villa Park. Abdulla is an experienced professional with a rich history in the hospitality industry. His expertise spans hotel booking, pre-opening, general management, sales, room divisions, F&B operations, and revenue analysis. A graduate of Taylor’s University, Abdulla has been recognized as the “Best General Manager” by The World Luxury Hotel Awards. His proficiency in supplier analysis, evaluation management, and product procurement is complemented by his outstanding team management skills. Abdulla’s genuine care for his staff, who are equally dedicated and hardworking, is evident in the warm and efficient service they provide.

Our stay at Villa Park was made exceptionally memorable thanks to the dedicated service of Mohamed Shanoon, the Housekeeping Manager. From the moment we began our journey, Shanoon’s attentiveness and hospitality shone through. He guided us seamlessly from our booking process to our arrival on the island, ensuring that every detail was perfect.
Upon our arrival, Shanoon welcomed us warmly and assisted with every aspect of our stay. He arranged a delightful fishing excursion, and we had the pleasure of dining on the fresh seafood we caught, making for an unforgettable meal. Our initial accommodation, a beachfront suite with a private pool, was upgraded on the second night to an even more luxurious room thanks to Shanoon’s thoughtful consideration. The upgraded room offered enhanced amenities and comfort, and waking up to a stunning sunrise was a magical experience.
Shanoon’s dedication to our comfort and enjoyment was evident in every interaction. He organized excursions, provided valuable local insights, and even ensured that we experienced the island’s unique activities such as manta ray and shark feedings. His warm and genuine care made our stay not just comfortable but truly extraordinary.
Experiencing Unparalleled Hospitality
Our journey to Villa Park began with meticulous planning, ensuring every detail of our trip was perfect. From boarding our flight to the domestic transfer at Malé Airport, every step was handled with care. Upon arrival at the island, we were treated to a delightful fishing excursion, where we enjoyed the fruits of our labor with a fresh seafood dinner.
The beach was pristine, and the crystal-clear blue waters were invigorating, providing a sense of tranquility and joy.
Culinary Delights and Unique Experiences
Villa Park offers a variety of dining options to cater to diverse tastes. We indulged in Italian cuisine, savored Thai dishes, and enjoyed a delightful island BBQ. The golf bar and concert bar provided excellent venues for evening relaxation, with live performances by local bands adding a special touch to our evenings.
One of the highlights of our stay was witnessing the manta ray feeding at 6:30 PM near the beach BBQ area. Simultaneously, shark feeding took place near the Water Villa area. Watching these magnificent creatures playfully interact in the water was a mesmerizing experience, erasing all worries and leaving us in awe of nature’s beauty.
