Hotel intl Standards by DERBAL

Summarized the standards of international brands of high-end hotel rooms, including bedding, furniture, service, etc. These standards are based on the international one of the three major hotel management groups of a U.S. hotel management group’s core brand Hotel Intl standards as a blueprint summarized for your reference

1. BeddingDERBAL MISSION

mattresses and bedframes:

need to comply with the specified brand and size requirements, such as Serta Serta Suite Dreams II, Simmons Simmons Beautyrest Harmony, Slumberland Deluxe Comfort, King Koil Comfort Plush, etc. The size includes 135cm x 200cm Twin/Double XL, 150cm x 200cm Queen, 180cm x 200cm King. The sizes include 135cm x 200cm Twin/Double XL, 150cm x 200cm Queen, 180cm x 200cm King, 200cm x 200cm Presidential, etc., and zippers and split beds are not permitted.

– Mattress Liner:

T200, 50% cotton/50% polyester, plain weave top and bottom with pattern, fill weight 795 grams per square yard bonded polyester with polyester fitted skirt with elastic bonded bottom to accommodate mattresses up to 38cm high, must meet local fire codes.

– SHEETS:DERBAL-Hotel-Linen-Manufacturer

Plain sheets (post – wash), T250, 60% cotton/40% polyester or 100% cotton, 4mm satin stripe, white in color, top fold 7.5cm, bottom fold 2.5cm, left and right folds 1.25cm, with care labels, Stitches Per Inch (SPI) 10 – 11, single needle edge type, threads are fabric color (except bottom stitch), bottom 2.5cm, and bottom 2.5cm. except), bottom 2.5cm folded edge color coded to size to differentiate.

– Pillowcase:

T250, 60% cotton/40% polyester blend or 100% cotton, executive stripe, 4mm satin stripe, color white.

– Pillow:

Down and feather filled, T233 cotton pillowcase, queen size (50cm x 70cm), standard pillow weight 1225gm (firm) or 938gm (soft), color white. In addition, synthetic pillows are to be provided as an alternative option to non-down products, with a specification of 100% recycled tufted fiber fill, blended pillowcase, queen size (50cm x 70cm), 575gm, and white in color.

– Down comforter/blanket:

natural fill, white barrier weave, T233, 100% cotton shell, 38cm sew-through box quilting design in white, double-stitched with loops at corners, filled with 75% grey duck down; synthetic comforter core needs to be supplied as an alternative to the guest’s preference for a non-down product, specification 100% regenerated tufted fibre fill, microfibre shell, white in color, sized to fit the bed.

– Comforter cover:

T250, 60% cotton/40% polyester or 100% cotton, executive stripe, Damask with 4mm stripe, 3-sided double stitch with knife edge, opening at bottom, 36cm fold on one side of opening with 5cm fold, no fold on other side with 2.5cm fold, 20cm hand rest on left and right sides at 3.75cm from top, with care label, Stitches Per Inch (SPI ) is 10 – 11, single needle edge type, thread is fabric color (except bottom stitch), bottom 2.5cm folded edge needs to be color coded to differentiate according to size, no buttons, snaps, or zippers, finished size must be appropriate for duvet/blanket size, color is white. – Bed skirts: Bed and pillow surfaces must be completely free of decorative items, branded design approved bed skirts are required.

2. Furniture and Equipment:

– Wardrobes/Closets:

The following items must be provided in each guest room, hangers with minimum specifications of wood finish, brass or nickel hooks and clips, no logos, no anti-theft hangers are permitted, men’s (5) open hooks with crossbars or locking rods, women’s (5) open hooks with clips, and Additional closets (e.g., suite living room) Men’s (4) open hooks with crossbars or locking bars.

– Iron/Ironing Board:

At least one iron and one ironing board per guest room with non-stick soles (e.g., Teflon), automatic shut-off, steam option, etc., and a freestanding ironing board, 43“ x 13”, with padding and covering, commercial grade, fire retardant.

– Closet Hangers:

must hold iron, can place ironing board against wall in closet, commercial grade, wall mounted unit, made of heat resistant thermoset plastic.

Bathrobes:

white, 120cm in length, no logo (requirements vary by group, single hotels may choose to carry a branded logo), made of terry-lined microfiber, 60/40 waffle weave (lined or unlined) or 450gm 100% cotton terry. – Slippers:

closed toe, no logo (different requirements for each group, single hotels can choose with brand logo), bottom sole: 5mm EVA, top sole: 3mm sponge cotton velvet, middle sole: 365gm cardboard, inner bridge: 3mm sponge rocker velvet, white.

– Laundry/Ironing Service:

The hotel must provide a laundry, ironing and dry-cleaning service at least five days a week at the price indicated on all order forms, the price of dry-cleaned clothes must not differ according to gender.

– Safe:

New safes must meet the requirements specified by the brand, in-room safes must be available to guests free of charge with a disclaimer notice that includes a statement of the hotel’s liability for theft of money or valuables, etc. The hotel is required to contact a local attorney directly to ensure that the statement complies with local laws.

– Refrigerators/Minibars:

New refrigerators and minibars must meet the details of the brand’s design, construction and refurbishment standards, and if the hotel provides a minibar, it must be restocked daily and maintained at 41°F/5°C or below.

– Hotel Clocks:

Group pre-approved clocks need to be purchased or customized products used that meet specific specifications such as single day alarms, dimmers, snooze buttons/durations, automatic/preset Daylight Saving Time settings (if applicable), battery backups with security gates, lockout/inaccessible time setting buttons, 3-step alarm settings, and clocks must have a minimum of one USB port.

– Hotel Guestroom TV:

Each hotel room must have a TV, compliant with C.E./U.L. (CCC in China) listed for commercial/hotel use, with a separate remote control, the TV must have a minimum of 1080p vertical resolution, support MPEG4 decoding, and have the ability to receive HD free-to-air TV content from the country in which it is located (e.g., QAM/DVB – T/DVB – C/DVB – T2 /MPEG-4/Pro:Idiom/Digital Rights Management), existing and new/replacement TVs need to meet specific size and technical requirements, and TVs must not be more than seven years old.

Telephones:

must meet the specifications and functional requirements set forth in Section 1704.05, such as speaker phone capability, interface capability with hotel-specific systems, capability to display guest names, and specific button settings (e.g., “speed dial” access to hotel services).

3.Room Amenities and Services:

-Room Cleanliness:

The hotel must participate in an “eco-friendly” program (or other brand-approved towel and linen reuse program), with bed linens changed every three days during the guest’s stay (unless specified) and towels changed when the guest checks out, or when the towels are on the floor or in the bathtub (unless specified). Housekeeping:

provide at least two 8 oz. glasses (need to be glass, unmarked lids, meet sanitation and local code requirements, free of chips, cracks, indentations, or permanent etching due to hard water deposits, and cleaned and sanitized).

– Ashtrays/Matches:

fireproof ashtrays are provided in smoking rooms only and are not to be placed on nightstands, matches are required (matches must meet local fire codes).

– Ice Buckets/Trays:

Ice buckets and trays are to be provided in 1.6 quart size with lids and disposable plastic liners made of resin, stainless steel or better; trays are to be made of faux leather, resin, stainless steel or better. – Trash cans: Trash cans meeting requirements such as ignition resistance, decorative vinyl appearance or better, no logos, 10 liter capacity, etc., are to be provided.

– Other Supplies:

Adequate power outlets, USB ports and cables are provided and available to guests free of charge upon request with a deposit that can be added to the final charge if the item is not returned; items need to be in stock and available 24 hours a day; high chairs and booster seats are available and can be provided and sanitized after each use upon request.

4. Room Layouts and Spaces:

– Connecting Rooms:

If connecting rooms are provided, ensure that the connecting doors are functioning properly and that the connecting door is not damaged or damaged. Ensure that connecting doors are functional and meet safety standards. – Suites: Suites need to include a living room and a bedroom and be furnished and equipped to meet appropriate standards and requirements.

5. Technology and Connectivity:

Internet Access:
